ROLE SUMMARY:

Step into the dynamic environment of JCSI, where your expertise as a skilled Millwright will be utilized in Nampa, Idaho. This position offers an opportunity to engage in a blend of hard work and innovation, set against the backdrop of our flourishing sugar beet fields. Contribute to our mission of delivering quality products while ensuring the machinery operates efficiently and reliably.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble, install, and test machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Strictly adhere to safety regulations at all times.
  • Manage the layout and positioning of machinery to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify and rectify issues with machinery components.
  • Dismantle outdated machines and replace them with new equipment as necessary.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance by recognizing and addressing potential issues.
  • Utilize equipment such as forklifts to transport mechanical parts.
  • Interpret specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints to execute tasks effectively.
  • Work on various factory equipment, including pumps, conveyor belts, bearings, generators, turbines, and seals.
  • Troubleshoot and rebuild vacuum pumps and air compressors.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Expertise in assembling and installing machinery, with a focus on testing for functionality.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in optimizing equipment layout for improved factory operations.
  • Ability to identify and repair malfunctioning machine components.
  • Proficient in preventive maintenance and problem-solving.
  • Capability to operate equipment such as forklifts.
  • Strong mechanical skills, with proficiency in reading specifications and blueprints.
  • Experience in troubleshooting machinery issues.
  • Familiarity with factory equipment, including pumps, conveyor belts, and turbines.
  • Understanding of gear reducers and their applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild vacuum pumps and air compressors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
