Job Title: Customer Care Associate - Newborn Screening and Genomics Programs

If you are looking for a rewarding and impactful career, consider joining our Genetics team as a Customer Care Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting clients with our Newborn Screening and Genomics Programs, providing essential telephone and data entry support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Level 1 telephone support to external clients as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction, addressing potential issues promptly and effectively.
  • Review and interpret laboratory reports.
  • Communicate non-critical findings to submitters and designated healthcare professionals, adhering to contractual obligations and time-sensitive requirements.
  • Maintain and update computer databases and statistical spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Client Services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three or more years of customer service experience
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

The role may require working shifts outside of standard hours, including weekends. While travel is not necessary, candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, use a keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
