Audienceplus is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Content Strategy and Production to oversee all content strategy, production, and distribution for the San Francisco 49ers and Levi's Stadium. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a robust content strategy that grows the fan base, deepens engagement with current fans, drives revenue, and maintains positive brand perception.
Key Responsibilities- Content Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes creating messaging and campaign plans, editorial calendars, channel mix, cadence, tone, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Content Production Oversight: Oversee all content production teams, including video, social, photo, podcast, and written content. Ensure that all production teams are producing high-quality content efficiently and in alignment with the content strategy.
- Channel Management: Oversee all channel management teams, including social, web, mobile app, podcasts, SMS, push notification, and email. Ensure that all channel management teams are working to optimize individual channels and cross-channel, and are aligned with the content production teams and content strategy.
- Internal and External Partnerships: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external parties, ensuring that 49ers and Levi's Stadium channels are being leveraged and optimized to achieve various objectives.
- Ticket Sales and Corporate Partner Activation: Drive initiatives to support ticket sales and corporate partner activation. Develop new corporate partner assets and regularly update ratecards for existing assets.
- Editorial Assistance and Quality Assurance: Provide editorial assistance and quality assurance for all content.
- Resource Allocation and Coverage: Manage resource allocation and coverage plans, including travel assignments and logistics.
- Content KPI Reporting: Provide scheduled and ad-hoc content KPI reports, insights, and best practices.
- Content Budget Management: Manage and optimize the content budget, including full-time and part-time/freelance staff, production, paid media, equipment, software, licensing, and travel.
- Experience: At least 10+ years' relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Great Plains, Adobe Pro, and FloQast.
- Social Media Experience: Experience with Sprout Social or other similar social publishing, listening, and analytics platforms.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Travel: 10-15% of intra and interstate travel requiring overnight stay is expected for this position.
