Clinical Eye Technician Lead

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston seeks an experienced Clinical Eye Technician Lead to provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, assist physicians in gathering patient data, and maintain a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct visual acuity testing, visual field testing, lensometry, auto refractometry, refractometry, pupil assessment, extraocular motility, gross external examination, applanation tonometry, tonopen, eye drop instillation, diagnostic testing.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and optimize clinic workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT), Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC), Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA), or Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT-C) required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a COA, COT, COMT, OSC, CRA or OCT-C.
- Strong technical skills in operating ophthalmic equipment and excellent communication skills.
