Job Overview

This role is essential for managing all client interactions within the healthcare setting. The individual will handle patient inquiries, coordinate with attorneys, insurance representatives, and medical professionals, and process patient payments through various methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the front reception area and main telephone line, ensuring courteous and professional communication.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from patients, attorneys, insurance companies, and medical staff.
  • Accurately scan and process daily cash reconciliation documents, including cash postings and electronic remittance advice.
  • Document and manage correspondence received through various channels, including lockbox and faxes.
  • Maintain the inventory of office supplies for the department.
  • Handle all inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Verify and update insurance information as necessary, ensuring accurate billing.
  • Keep detailed logs of calls and patient concerns, addressing issues related to billing and identity theft.
  • Process credit card payments from patients efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
