The Senior Manager of HR Compliance oversees the Human Resources Compliance division, which conducts thorough research to prioritize and comprehend HR Compliance obligations. This role plays a crucial part in managing the third-party leave administration for KDP (Keurig Dr Pepper) and serves as a comprehensive subject matter expert in HR Compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide internal support for escalations within the HR Compliance Team and the broader HR Team, contributing to the enhancement of internal compliance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the global HR Team to develop and implement policy and process solutions that are compliant, scalable, and aligned with KDP's business practices, culture, and values.
  • Ensure KDP's adherence to equal opportunity, affirmative action, ADA, and other relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead annual and ongoing affirmative action planning initiatives.
  • Drive annual affirmative action activities and partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to analyze and interpret data, investigate concerns or potential barriers, and implement necessary actions.
  • Review and interpret regulatory requirements affecting human resources processes, effectively communicating these to impacted functions and teams, particularly in the leave of absence domain.
  • Manage a team of Leave of Absence (LOA) specialists to ensure compliance in vendor administration of the KDP leave program.
  • Operationalize policy and procedural modifications in response to evolving laws and regulations, assessing their potential impact on existing policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Collect, organize, evaluate, and analyze employee data in preparation for annual compliance filings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal government reports, including EEO-1 and VET4212 reports.
  • Support HR-related activities to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation or remediation strategies.
  • Demonstrate a results-oriented and self-driven approach, proactively identifying and analyzing potential risk areas in collaboration with key business groups (Legal, EH&S, etc.).
  • Lead a team of HR Compliance specialists, coordinating their work, managing a rotating schedule of compliance inquiries, adjudicating background screening results, and providing general compliance guidance to HR and business partners.
  • Ensure high performance results of your team by:
    • Fostering a culture of trust and well-being that prioritizes team dynamics and values employee contributions.
    • Driving a shared vision with clear goals and accountability, supported by regular discussions to maximize talent.
    • Embracing diverse perspectives to encourage innovation and learning from both successes and failures.
    • Establishing a safe environment where team members feel motivated, heard, and aligned with clear expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

This position manages a team of compliance specialists and one manager overseeing a team of five LOA specialists. Responsibilities include providing informal assistance such as technical guidance and training to colleagues, leading project teams, and planning and supervising assignments of direct reports.
