Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at the City of Frisco, TX. As a key member of our Financial Services Office, you will be responsible for managing, auditing, and reporting on all City, Community Development Corporation (CDC), Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and/or Capital Improvement Project (CIP) compliance, contract, and development agreements, leases, and purchase and sale contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple contractual deadlines for a large volume of incentive agreements, development agreements, and capital projects.
- Monitor budgets and project funding to ensure financial obligations are accurate and complete.
- Liaison between City departments to coordinate and provide management activities for assigned projects.
- Create monthly financial reports and other reports as requested in conjunction with the Controller.
- Oversee maintenance of all records related to City/CDC/EDC/CIP agreements, purchase & sales contracts, leases, and other documents.
- Respond to Public Information Requests (PIRs) with the City Secretaries' Office (CSO) regarding all agreements and contracts.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with departments, staff, various compliance staff, and other agencies.
- Assist City/CDC/EDC & CIP staff in researching, developing, and formulating the annual budget as it relates to incentive payments and projects.
- Coach/Lead, motivate, develop, engage, and evaluate assigned staff.
- Develop and maintain a knowledgeable, service-oriented, and productive work group.
- Provide timely, accurate, and thorough performance evaluations for supervised employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, or related field and three (3) years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Notary Public or ability to obtain within three (3) months from date of hire preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR check.
- Must possess valid State of Texas Drivers' License.
