Position Overview:
Astound Business Solutions is actively seeking a Senior Strategic Sales Executive.
This role encompasses both client acquisition and comprehensive account management for high-profile Fortune 10000 enterprises, government entities, and tribal organizations.
Your responsibilities will cover all aspects of the customer lifecycle, including identifying new sales prospects, engaging with C-Level executives, delivering professional sales presentations, maintaining active follow-ups, and navigating complex contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts consistently to ensure satisfaction and retention through exceptional customer service, including regular service follow-ups and problem resolution.
- Coordinate installation projects with various teams to guarantee timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries for information, support, and pricing.
- Collaborate with the sales/service team to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Engage in proactive sales initiatives, including needs assessments, proposal development, order negotiations, and post-sales service.
- Negotiate contracts with new clients to achieve revenue growth and meet targets.
- Experience in the Medical sector is advantageous, particularly in video, voice, and networking within large medical client environments.
- This position will focus on Medical and Strategic accounts in the WA/OR/CA regions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in a strategic sales role with a proven track record of success.
- Exceptional collaboration skills for effective communication across departments.
- Ability to provide business insights to leadership on maximizing relationships with state participants.
- Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to large business and government clients.
- Proficient in selling to C-level executives.
- Experience in solution selling, consultative sales techniques, and account planning.
- Strong business acumen in funnel management and forecasting within a CRM framework.
- Knowledge of switched and dedicated services, along with associated applications.
- Understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Familiarity with general marketing principles and tools.
- Strong decision-making skills and customer retention strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 8 years of success in selling technical solutions to large businesses.
- Active involvement in trade and commercial organizations to enhance market visibility.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position is $90,000, with opportunities for commissions, bonuses, and benefits. Actual pay may vary based on relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
Commissions:
Targeted commissions at full attainment are $60,000 annually, with potential for significant earnings for those who exceed sales targets.
