Role Overview
In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and reporting processes related to the importation and sales of Motor Coaches across North America.

Acting as a key liaison among various stakeholders, including Daimler Coaches North America (DCNA), DTNA, and Daimler Buses personnel, you will facilitate all financial matters pertinent to the operations of DCNA.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the reconciliation processes for significant inventory and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in establishing all US customers and vendors within the cbFC financial system.
- Support the comprehensive Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions within DCNA.
- Oversee the processing of payments received by DCNA from external parties.
- Manage all transactions related to the Customer Finance program and Bank of America.
- Ensure compliance with Sales and Use Tax collection and payment processes across multiple states.
- Conduct various financial analyses aimed at enhancing the operational performance of DCNA.

What We Offer
The position comes with a competitive starting salary range of $74,000 to $95,000 USD, commensurate with your skills and experience.

Responsibilities Include
- Supporting financial reporting and verification for the importation of motor coaches from Europe and the sale of pre-owned motor coaches.
- Tracking and reconciling all inventory and fixed asset accounts in collaboration with DTNA Accounting staff.
- Managing necessary Sales and Use Tax documentation and payments to ensure compliance for the delivery of motor coaches and parts/services sales.
- Generating financial reports that provide valuable insights for DCNA executives to manage ongoing operations.
- Continuously reviewing and improving DCNA's financial processes with a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability, along with a solid understanding of basic accounting and IFRS principles.
- Proficiency in various software platforms, including CRM Software (MS Office, SAP, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, utilizing critical and creative thinking to address challenges.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in finance and accounting within the manufacturing, automotive, or commercial vehicle sectors.
- Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
- Experience with startup companies is advantageous.
