We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team at Aureon. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell Aureon products and services to current clients, including new products and renewals.
  • Secure new clients for Aureon, defined as first-time consumers of Aureon products and solutions.
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Monitor activity of clients within the sales teams and ensure that client communication, service, and support exceed client expectations.
  • Develop a regional sales plan with SMART goals and report regularly as required.
  • Build brand in the community as a trusted advisor for technology products and services.
  • Build relationships with prospects and clients, and assist with retention of current clients.
  • Ensure contact with clients impacted by service issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated discipline, internally and with clients and prospects.
  • Stay current on telecom trends, local and regional construction, and economic development to better meet the needs of clients.
  • Provide all requested activity and sales opportunity reporting.
  • Achieve sales team quota.
  • Participate in public speaking engagements as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Repeated demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • 5+ years of experience in Telecommunication or IT Networking sales.
  • Preferred: MBA or equivalent degree, 7+ years of experience in Telecommunication or IT Networking sales.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, superiors, and business contacts.
  • Ability to analyze market competition, profitability switches, and suggest strategic choices based on insights derived.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
  • Ability to create and lead major strategic initiatives.
  • Versed in project management skills and execution.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels across all departments.
  • Capacity to adapt to meet new requirements, changes, and challenges.
  • Propensity to maintain long-term client relationships to support recurring work.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to accurately estimate the stage and close dates for business/sales opportunities.

  • Confident when presenting technical information to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to multi-task and manage change within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledgeable of sales-level complex services and promotions.

  • History of working well under pressure within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience cross-selling various verticals.
Tools, Equipment, and Software
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM solution.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Primarily indoor work primarily in office environments.
  • Valid Driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Travel up to 75% in the region required with 4-5 overnights per month.
  • Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of computer screen.
  • No unusual physical requirements.
