Position Overview
The POS Systems Administrator will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Zenoti POS System, responsible for its deployment, upkeep, and enhancement to support ongoing operations and future expansion. This role demands an in-depth understanding of the Zenoti platform, proficiency in managing system integrations, and the strategic insight to align the POS system with organizational goals. The POS Systems Administrator will collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations, provide training and support, and drive system enhancements.

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Act as the primary authority on the Zenoti POS System, fully understanding its capabilities and features.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Zenoti system processes and configurations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Zenoti updates, features, and best practices.

System Management and Optimization:

  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Zenoti POS System across all locations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Work in conjunction with IT and operational teams to ensure seamless system integrations and data flow.

Support and Training:

  • Provide advanced support for Zenoti-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Design and conduct training programs for end-users, ensuring comprehensive understanding of the system's functionalities.
  • Establish and manage a helpdesk for Zenoti-related inquiries and support requests.

Strategic Planning and Growth:

  • Evaluate business needs and identify opportunities to leverage Zenoti's capabilities for growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the Zenoti POS System, aligning it with the company’s objectives.
  • Lead initiatives related to system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and expansion efforts.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service, to gather requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Act as a liaison between Zenoti and the organization, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, focusing on Microsoft 365, web applications, and POS systems, preferably Zenoti.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Zenoti or similar POS systems, with strong problem-solving abilities and a thorough understanding of system functionalities.
  • Proficient project management skills, with experience leading system implementations and upgrades.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices is advantageous.
