Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Contra Costa Community College District. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Dean of Students and indirect support to various departments and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Dean of Students, including scheduling, budget tracking, and expense processing.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and maintain office communications.
  • Support event planning, including the Graduation Ceremony event.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information on policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate a welcoming and culturally responsive environment for the office.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience performing complex clerical and administrative duties.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework.
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures, practices, and technology/equipment.
  • Ability to learn and interpret District or college rules, laws, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
