Job Opportunity

Dynamic Pro, Inc. is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team in supporting the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) systems to create, modify, and release detailed layouts, technical drawings, and word drawings in accordance with CADD standards.
  • Provide technical support to the WMATA Communications management team as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications Engineering on CAD tasks and support systems design and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Prepare design documentation in the form of CAD packages for contractor teams in compliance with WMATA CAD Standards.
  • Develop as-built drawings and communicate with project managers, engineers, and CAD staff to create and revise drawings according to project specifications.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in CAD, preferably with knowledge of WMATA's CAD standards.
  • Experience developing CAD drawings related to CCTV and fire detection systems is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the rail/transit industry.
  • Knowledge of drafting software for creating 2D and 3D computer drawings.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
