About the Role

Guardian Flight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Operations Director to lead our flight operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.
  • Oversee the management of flight operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and crew management.
  • Collaborate with the Aircraft Maintenance team to ensure that all aircraft are properly maintained and airworthy.
  • Develop and manage the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program to improve pilot efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Communicate with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop and manage the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) program to ensure that all aircraft are properly equipped and maintained.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the flight operations team to ensure that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Must have a strong background in aviation operations and management.
  • Must have experience with FARs and company policies.
  • Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) systems.
  • Experience with Minimum Equipment List (MEL) programs.
  • Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
