Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in conducting procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT scans and manipulate images according to protocols
  • Administer oral and IV contrast to patients according to protocols
  • Transfer images to PACS, UNCH's EMR, and EPIC
  • Verify patient identification and demographic information
  • Perform other duties as required, including C-arm work and portables
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
  • Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment
  • Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually
