UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in the Radiology OR department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT scans and manipulate images according to protocols.
  • Administer oral and IV contrast to patients according to protocols.
  • Transfer images to PACS, UNCH's EMR, EPIC, and QC stations.
  • Verify patient identification and demographic information.
  • Perform other duties as required, including precepting new employees and students.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible.
  • Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment.
  • Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. The salary range is $40.09 per hour (hiring range). UNC Health Care offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
