Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history
  • Conduct CT scans and manipulate images according to protocols
  • Administer oral and IV contrast to patients as needed
  • Transfer images to PACS and verify accuracy
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including precepting new employees and students

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
  • Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment
  • Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $27.89 - $40.09 per hour
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week
  • Weekend work schedule
  • Exempt from overtime
