Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Commercial Transformation to lead our Business Program Team for the assigned and premium seating project. This role will coordinate, manage risks and issues between various stakeholders and partners throughout the Company, and facilitate optimization across Commercial Transformation Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans and execute project management and delivery of major cross-departmental Commercial business initiatives
  • Drive timely communication and ensure alignment for cross-departmental initiatives amongst the Commercial Officer Team, Commercial Leaders, working Team members, Technology partners, Finance partners, and other stakeholders from other parts of the Company
  • Coordinate and deliver cross-functional project updates and materials to Senior Leadership and other stakeholder groups
  • Identify emerging project risks and determine appropriate groups for communication and awareness
  • Develop mitigation plans and ensure that appropriate levels of Commercial and Company Leadership are informed and in approval
  • Organize, run, and deliver regular project updates and governance meetings
  • Direct and lead any internal and external resources assigned to business delivery of cross-departmental Commercial initiatives
  • Drive business engagement and overall efforts towards on time, on scope, and on budget delivery of each initiative
  • Drive business coordination in partnership with Technology across all levels of the Commercial organization (Officer, Director, Manager, Individual Contributor) on governance and prioritization of the Commercial Technology Portfolio
  • Drive Commercial organization and engagement in strategy and planning exercises driven by other parts of the Company (FP&A, Corporate Strategy, Enterprise Alignment)
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the commercial aviation industry, including general commercial aviation economics, key industry financial performance metrics, and the industry competitive landscape in the United States
  • Knowledge of project management, software development, and lifecycle management tools/processes, and drive large initiatives from concept to completion
  • Knowledge of standard structure and major phases of large-scale technology projects
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and creating high-quality, Executive-level presentations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees up to and including executive levels about complex issues in structured and concise manner
  • Ability to converse with multiple business partners, technology partners, and vendors throughout the project life cycle to ensure successful delivery
  • Ability to effectively program manage large-scale cross-departmental initiatives
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics across multiple departments and functions of the Company
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment amongst all Leadership levels (Officer, Director, Manager)
  • Ability to take new or ambiguous business problems and organize and execute an effective plan towards a meaningful solution
  • Ability to motivate, grow, and develop direct reports and cross functional teams
