Job Overview

PNC Bank NA is seeking a Senior Commercial Lending Risk Management Expert to join our team.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Job Description:

As a Senior Commercial Lending Risk Management Expert, you will be responsible for analyzing complex credit and credit-related transactions, and demonstrating a deep understanding of the inherent level and materiality of risk. You will act as a second-level reviewer and reviewer in charge, serving as an expert resource to the team.

You will correlate industry, economic, regulatory, and other trends in the credit cycle, providing expert insight and including findings in the credit review assessment. You will analyze complex credit facility structures and underwriting processes within the context of credit policies, validating scorecard risk ratings, testing, and maintenance activities.

You will ensure understanding of portfolio issues, trends, and root causes to manage credit portfolios effectively, analyze output to support decisioning, and analyze risk in assigned credit portfolios by reviewing relevant reporting and assessing trends.

You will provide expert analytical insight and assess the risk organization's sufficiency to identify and manage forward-looking risks, identifying risk concentrations, systemic trends, or issues. You will complete work papers, issue tracking, and follow up on exam findings, participating in continuous monitoring for assigned portfolios.

As a Senior Commercial Lending Risk Management Expert, you will supervise and mentor undergraduate interns and rotational program associates, independently preparing materials and supporting documentation, and conducting meetings with Line of Business representatives.
