Job Overview

Longenecker & Associates (L&A) is seeking a dedicated Program Manager A to support our mission at SRNS. Key Responsibilities
  • Support program/project initiatives by developing comprehensive scopes of work to fulfill project objectives.
  • Oversee and manage new initiatives, modifications, or a variety of options from project inception to completion.
  • Provide guidance for technical reviews and procedural requirements related to project and program needs.
  • Collaborate with various site departments to establish new program/project initiatives over extended periods.
  • Deliver financial analysis and support for project activities.
  • Manage, consolidate, and document all budgetary requirements to secure funding for programs/projects.
Qualifications

Education: A Master’s degree in a technical field with 16 years of extensive experience in engineering, operations, marketing, strategic planning, or an MBA with a technical undergraduate degree and 16 years of relevant experience, or a Technical BS with 20 years of similar experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a diverse work environment.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment screening, including background and drug checks.
  • Commitment to uphold L&A's core values.
  • Over 20 years of experience in Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Project Coordination.
  • Experience in Program or Facility Management within plutonium nuclear facility operations.
  • Demonstrated accountability for project schedules, budgets, and safe work practices.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry/facility.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the last two years is preferred.
  • Relevant experience at SRS is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of site procedures and safety protocols is preferred.
Work Environment

This position is based on-site. Candidates should be prepared for a work schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a total of 2,000 standard hours and 500 hours of overtime anticipated per year.
