Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of collection and analytical efforts focused on country-specific economic and technological strengths.
  • Facilitate and support inter-agency collaborations and working groups to create assessments based on open-source intelligence regarding economic and technological capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to the regionally focused National Intelligence Manager in the planning, analysis, production, and coordination of strategic documents, policy formulation, and external engagements with both U.S. and international partners.
  • Stay informed about community initiatives related to economic strategies, supply chains, innovative technologies, and threats to democratic processes.
  • Assist decision-makers and special projects on intelligence integration issues, including the preparation and coordination of comprehensive reports and presentations for senior intelligence community members, policymakers, military leaders, and congressional representatives.
  • Maintain situational awareness of various issues and intelligence challenges, delivering written or verbal responses to requests from policymakers.
  • Support the organization, facilitation, and follow-up for community sessions and outreach initiatives addressing intelligence integration topics.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Expertise in the Area of Responsibility (AOR) - China.
  • Proficient in intelligence analysis concerning economic and technological capabilities.
  • Experience with analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to conceptualize and evaluate both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience collaborating with and briefing various elements of the intelligence community and Joint Staff.
  • Strong comprehension of collection and publication processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior government officials and for networking across the intelligence community.
  • Ability to produce clear, articulate, and polished analytical documents, summaries, issue papers, and briefings for senior staff.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is typically required, along with relevant experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for some experience.
