What You Will Do:

  • Act as a key member of the engagement team, delivering various federal tax compliance and consulting services to Real Estate clients:
    • Serve as a valued tax advisor, managing client relationships and addressing day-to-day tax matters.
    • Consult on technical issues and special projects related to corporate and flow-through taxation.
    • Conduct research on various tax matters, respond to inquiries from tax authorities, and provide recommendations.
    • Collaborate with specialty tax practices on complex tax issues across various domains.
  • Oversee client engagement staffing, billing, and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
  • Utilize your networking skills to cultivate strong relationships and drive new client acquisition.
  • Invest in your professional growth through participation in firm-wide learning initiatives.
  • Support the development of team members through mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business field; a master's or advanced degree is preferred.
  • CPA or JD certification is required.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting within a professional services environment.
  • At least five years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and developing associates.
  • Strong management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • The ability to lead teams, provide exceptional client service, and maintain a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Proficiency in software and Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.
