Job Title: Stationary Engineer Shift Lead (Operations Manager)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer Shift Lead to join our team at Emcor Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical circuits.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter changes, belt replacements, and lubrication checks.
  • Inspect and test systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Requisition necessary materials and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid DC 3rd class engineers license or a Maryland 1st Class Engineers license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the operation of central building equipment, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
  • Proven ability to repair building electrical, plumbing, and HVAC auxiliary systems.
  • Experience with braze/soldering copper pipe, threading black pipe, and basic carpentry skills.
