Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Washington Hospital. As a key member of our Operations Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all stationary equipment in the hospital and assigned properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform repairs, services, and installation of stationary equipment under the supervision of the Chief Operating Engineer, adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  2. Demonstrate competency in Washington Hospital's Core Control Engineer Skills & Responsibilities.
  3. Accurately report information to team members and other stakeholders to facilitate timely intervention and adequate care.
  4. Complete technical skills and procedures as delegated according to established Core Control Engineer Skills & Responsibilities.
Requirements

A copy of the Pittsburgh Stationary Engineer's License or NIULPE of PA, Inc. (National Institute of Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers of Pennsylvania, Inc.) License is required. A valid Driver's License with no Tier D violations is also necessary.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive starting rate of $27.01, with a rate of $27.63 after 90 days. The position offers a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week, rotating shifts based on seniority. The Department is Facilities Management.
