$90,000-$100,000

Work Schedule:
Primarily day shifts with occasional support for off shifts.
Position Overview:
As a Continuous Improvement Process Engineer, your role will involve leveraging your expertise in process enhancement methodologies to assess and interpret our manufacturing workflows and data. You will identify trends or discrepancies to diagnose issues, prioritize them, and implement effective solutions.
You will develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies aimed at enhancing product and process quality, reducing cycle times, boosting productivity, and minimizing equipment downtime.
Your responsibilities will include creating and monitoring site performance metrics, empowering the team to understand and track these metrics, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting ideas from all site personnel.
Additionally, you will facilitate team meetings and guide teams in implementing measurement techniques to sustain improvements in processes.
You will provide training on continuous improvement techniques and statistical analysis, as well as gather, analyze, and interpret data through the evaluation of existing processes. You will prepare reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to summarize operations and highlight key findings.
Your role will also involve educating the team on Continuous Improvement methodologies and leading initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and quality performance.
You will assess opportunities for process improvement, define relevant metrics, and develop actionable improvement plans.
Collaboration with other departments will be essential to prioritize process enhancements that contribute to operational excellence.
Advocating for the benefits of continuous improvement will be a daily responsibility, addressing various perceptions regarding the tools and their potential impact on the organization.
Travel requirements for improvement projects will be approximately 10%.Qualifications:
A degree in engineering or a related discipline; a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Strong project management and facilitation skills are required, with a preference for Project Management certification.
