Compensation:
$90,000-$100,000

Additional Benefits:

Work Schedule:
Primarily day shifts with occasional support for off shifts.

Position Overview:
As a Continuous Improvement Process Engineer, your role will involve leveraging your expertise in process enhancement methodologies to assess and interpret our manufacturing operations and data. You will identify trends or discrepancies to define challenges, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.
Develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies aimed at enhancing product and process quality, reducing cycle times, boosting productivity, and minimizing equipment downtime.
Establish and track site metrics, empowering the team to comprehend and monitor these metrics as well. Formulate and implement improvement strategies, soliciting ideas from across the site.
Lead team meetings and guide teams in applying methods to measure and sustain process improvements.
Educate the team on continuous improvement techniques and statistical analysis.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data through the evaluation of existing processes. Prepare reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to summarize operations and highlight findings.
Instruct the team on Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Facilitate initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity enhancement, process optimization, and quality performance.
Assess our process improvement opportunities, define relevant metrics, and develop actionable improvement plans.
Collaborate with other departments to prioritize process enhancements aimed at achieving operational excellence.

Act as a daily advocate for the benefits of continuous improvement while addressing various perceptions regarding the tools and their potential impact on the organization.

Travel may be required for improvement projects, up to 10%.

Qualifications:


A degree in engineering or a related field; Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools (DMAIC, PDCA, etc.). Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean certification is advantageous.
Strong project management and facilitation skills are essential. Project Management certification is preferred.
