Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the sales cycle by facilitating customer orders and providing basic account servicing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and technology skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to collect customer information and product specifications.
  • Process new purchase orders, reviewing all aspects before accepting and confirming.
  • Route supplies, job jackets, and materials to work areas to initiate production.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent service and follow-through.
  • Prioritize workload as necessary, selecting from multiple alternatives to meet business needs.
  • Verify shipping reports against packing lists and review customer transaction reports.
  • Exhibit a consistent desire to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, with a background in printing or packaging being a significant plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence, and effectively present information to groups of managers, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, and read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices.
