- Order Processing: Receive and review purchase orders from customers, confirming all aspects of the order before accepting and processing it.
- Supply Chain Management: Route supplies, job jackets, and materials to work areas to put job orders into production, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Customer Inquiry Resolution: Route inquiries and complaints in a timely manner, exhibiting excellent service and follow-through.
- Workload Prioritization: Prioritize workload as necessary, selecting from several alternatives to best meet the needs of the business.
- Shipping and Billing: Receive tickets for shipped or delivered products, begin the billing process, and verify shipping reports against packing lists.
- Problem Solving: Identify and escalate problems in a timely manner, gathering and communicating information skillfully.
- Initiative: Assess own strengths and weaknesses, pursue training and development opportunities, and strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
- Customer Focus: Recognize potential customer problems, escalate, and solicit help when needed, responding promptly to customer needs.
- Conflict Management: Focus on solving conflict, not blaming, maintaining confidentiality, and listening to others without interrupting.
- Communication: Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listening and getting clarification, and responding well to questions.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibiting objectivity and openness to others' views, and contributing to building a positive team spirit.
- Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
- Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, and ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk, and occasionally required to stand and walk.
