Domestic Violence Program Assistant

The Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County inc is seeking a skilled Domestic Violence Resident Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Domestic Violence Services department, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to survivors of domestic violence.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Provide front office support, including screening visitors, answering phone calls, and maintaining a clean and organized office space.
- Answer crisis hotline and text line calls, providing support, safety planning, options, and referrals for services to DV survivors.
- Communicate essential information to team members and accurately record client information and services in our database.
- Assist residents with requests for personal items, transportation, food, and other emergent/basic needs.
- Provide consistent and trauma-informed emotional support to residents.
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in social sciences preferred.
- 2 years of customer/client services experience preferred; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web-based applications; strong written and verbal communications skills.
