About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Violence Support Assistant. This role is part of our Residential Program, which provides a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide person-centered support to residents, including emotional support, safety planning, and referrals to community resources.">
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as accessing transportation, food, and other basic needs.">
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.">
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and services provided.">
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond to crisis situations as needed.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in social sciences or equivalent experience.">
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are strongly preferred.">
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations and provide empathetic support.">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web-based applications.">
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.">
