Role Overview

As a Principal Designer at Linktree, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction of our Social Commerce Team. Your expertise will drive user engagement and business growth through intuitive, engaging, and scalable digital experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead design projects from concept to launch, optimizing user experiences to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and define design strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor senior designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create cohesive user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15–20 years of experience in digital product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing leadership in innovative projects.
  • Expertise in one core area of design and strong skills in two others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts and strategies.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Origami, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills, including strategic planning and mentorship.
  • Ability to work closely with executive teams and other leadership within the company.
