Aspire of Illinois is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources and Development to join our team. This pivotal role involves driving the entire talent management cycle, encompassing talent acquisition, retention, leadership development, employee relations, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with leaders across the organization to design and implement talent initiatives that align with our strategic goals. This position requires frequent travel to our locations in Waukegan, Hillside, and Shannon Center, with a minimum of three days a week onsite to support our geographically diverse teams.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the talent management cycle, including talent acquisition, retention, people & leadership development, employee relations, and performance management.

The Director of Human Resources and Development will have two direct reports and one shared report. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 3 years of prior human resources experience. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is also required.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. SHRM certification, a Master's degree in human resources, learning, organization change, or communication, and previous experience working for a not-for-profit organization are preferred.
