We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing construction expertise and supporting project leaders in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CSA and MEP scope budgets and track project costs throughout the life of projects
  • Undertake change management, estimating impacts of changes and contingency drawdown
  • Develop WBS and cost breakdowns
  • Develop risk register and track impacts
  • Conduct CSA and MEP cost estimating through various design stages using experience, historical data and parametric ratios
  • Ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
  • Ensure correct production of monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client
  • Value engineering and lifecycle costing
  • Undertake payment recommendations and review contractor/consultant invoices
  • Take a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
  • Where appropriate, lead a cost management team and ensure they deliver on all of the above accountabilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical field
  • A minimum of five years' cost management and/or estimating experience
  • Experience working on large complex tech manufacturing or industrial projects preferred
  • Quantity surveying background preferable
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Project)
  • Ability to self-manage, requiring minimal supervision
  • Good time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
