Oncology Clinical Specialist

About the Role
Hartford HealthCare, the largest and most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Hartford Hospital and surrounding sites in Hartford County.
Responsibilities:
- Provide value-based care to Oncology Patients primarily in outpatient settings
- Triage and manage cancer patients, including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care
- Collaborate with a welcoming team committed to growth and development through support, collaboration, and mentoring
- Participate in opportunities for professional advancement/training through Hartford HealthCare's unique relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering

Qualifications:
- Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP)
- Oncology experience as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or RN
- A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
