Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Thermal Systems Engineer to join our team at BorgWarner. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the implementation of our feature roadmap, leading a structured approach to the feature team, and tracking implementation progress using dashboards and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the implementation of the feature roadmap
  • Lead a structured approach to the feature team
  • Track implementation progress using dashboards and KPIs
  • Design the system for your feature
  • Apply Systems Engineering principles throughout the product life cycle in an embedded software environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • ~5+ years' experience in an engineering field applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the product life cycle in an embedded software environment
  • Strong knowledge of thermal concepts and management of temperature for electronic and mechanical components
  • In-depth knowledge of requirements elicitation, analysis, definition, and management
  • Experience with Mathworks Matlab / Simulink for thermal simulation and data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
  • Organized and structured work style and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in systems, electrical, mechanical, or software engineering
  • Knowledge of or experience in multiple automotive engineering development areas (electrical, mechanical, test, software, controls, etc.)
  • System analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, etc.
