Join Our Team

We are currently seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care team. This role will involve supporting our practice through both a centralized call center and a community-based location, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will primarily focus on telephone triage, engaging with patients to assess their needs and provide appropriate guidance based on established protocols. This role is vital in maintaining the quality of care that our patients expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, including MDs, NPs, and PAs, to ensure effective patient care.
  • Conduct triage assessments to determine the nature of patient inquiries and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Provide patient education and follow-up care, including support for medical assistants and licensed practical nurses.
  • Occasionally perform hands-on clinical tasks as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Manage triage responsibilities across both the practice and centralized call center.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient and adaptable nurse with a strong clinical background. We seek individuals who are not only skilled and experienced but also possess a positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of three years of nursing experience.
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or emergency departments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ambulatory phone triage is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems, such as Epic, is preferred.
