The San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology is seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about hair coloring and excels in customer interaction. This part-time role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warmly greet and assist all clients and visitors, ensuring a pleasant experience.
2. Manage guest check-in utilizing our appointment management system.
3. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via email and phone for our location.
4. Engage clients in discussions about post-service options, including product recommendations and future bookings.
5. Address general questions and inquiries from both internal and external sources.
6. Support general office tasks, including filing and participating in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- A cosmetology license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for hair coloring; sales skills are highly valued.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adept at handling multiple situations simultaneously.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Capable of executing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proficient with technology.
- Retail experience is a plus but not essential.
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Salon Manager.
Compensation
Hourly wage guaranteed plus commissions on retail sales.
