Transaction Advisory Services Manager

We're growing our fast-paced Transaction Advisory and Healthcare Consulting team, and we're excited to have you become a part of our success. As a Transaction Advisory Services Manager, you'll provide expert guidance on transaction advisory services, including business valuations, financial modeling, financial due diligence, compliance support, business optimization, EBITDA enhancement, deal structuring, and special projects for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive buy-side and sell-side due diligence analyses, including pro-forma and due diligence adjustments to determine subject companies' EBITDA.
  • Analyze complex financial statement information, synthesizing data into meaningful insights to drive discussions with target management and inform observations and conclusions.
  • Review subject company financial information and other data to identify key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare fair market value analyses of compensation, agreements, contracts, leases, and other relevant documents.
  • Create engaging exhibits, detailed reports, and PowerPoint presentations for client management.
  • Perform and complete work, including the preparation of work papers, draft and final reports, and corresponding presentations/analyses.
  • Analyze and understand various financial documents, including tax returns and financial statements.
  • Provide advisory and technical knowledge to clients and team members on transactions, accounting, due diligence, and other related topics.
  • Lead teams to generate a vision, establish direction, motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, and coach staff.
  • Manage deadlines, assigned client deliverables, and other supporting analysis as part of a team environment.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management and client personnel, serving as a secondary point of contact for day-to-day execution matters.
  • Assist in developing relationships with current and prospective clients, expanding services within a wide variety of industries.
  • Communicate with clients on the overall process of the engagement and corresponding results of the analyses performed.
  • Utilize proven business development skills to build upon transaction advisory services work.
  • Identify business opportunities and enhance go-to-market strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 5-10 years of previous experience in a management/supervisor role in accounting, finance, tax, audit, valuation, M&A, IB/PE, etc.
  • Exposure to Transaction Advisory/M&A.
  • CPA or CPA candidate; CVA, ASA, CFA credential holders a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret business documents, financial statements, tax returns, etc.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Motivated to perform creative research and quickly familiarize yourself with trends and characteristics related to new client ventures in a variety of industries.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments in a fast-paced, tight deadline scenario while taking ownership of each project from start to finish.
  • A proven business development record.
  • An ability to manage client relationships and multiple ongoing engagements.
