About Milacron: Milacron is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineering Specialist to enhance our team. This role involves delivering exceptional installations, maintenance, and repairs of plastic injection and extrusion machinery. You will be tasked with diagnosing issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with plastic injection and extrusion machinery.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Engage effectively with clients to address equipment repair needs.
  • Assess and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Install software programs on manufactured machines.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Team Structure: The Field Service Engineering Specialist will collaborate with the Aftermarket Service team and report to the Service Business Manager.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in industrial electricity, electronic engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulics, mechanics, or similar areas.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with plastic injection/extrusion machinery or similar equipment.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, machining, and hydraulic circuit skills.

Additional Skills: Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
