Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Navigator to join our team at Prism Health North Texas. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring patients receive the medical care they need while navigating complex insurance systems.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with patients to complete eligibility documentation, maintaining accurate records for new and existing outpatient medical care patients.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries to prioritize eligibility maintenance, documenting status and notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Upload required documents into the EHR and document portal, verifying insurance coverage before each visit and prior authorization for services.
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities, ensuring all necessary information is correct and complete in the PHNTX system.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of working with clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Able to handle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Familiarity with physician reimbursement, medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
