Job Summary

Spray Products Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our chemical manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain process equipment, including mixers, blenders, and other machinery.
  • Monitor and control the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Unload rail cars and tank wagons, and stage materials for production.
  • Perform quality control analysis, including sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a chemical plant environment, with a strong background in process operations and quality control.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work overtime and nights as required, and to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy objects.
Working Conditions

The Chemical Plant Operator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials. The ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality, is essential for this role.
