Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team at Spray Products Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our chemical manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain process equipment, including mixers, blenders, and other machinery
  • Monitor and control the mixing and blending of chemicals to ensure accurate and consistent product quality
  • Unload rail cars and tank wagons, and stage materials for production
  • Perform quality control analysis, including sampling and laboratory testing
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports
  • Comply with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a chemical plant environment, with a focus on mixing and blending
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime and nights as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to interact effectively with others
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment
  • Ability to execute strenuous physical work, including lifting, climbing, and pushing/pulling heavy objects
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
