We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Plant Production Specialist to join our team at Spray Products Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our chemical manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain process equipment, including mixers, blenders, and other machinery.
- Monitor and control the production process, ensuring that all products meet our high quality standards.
- Unload rail cars and tank wagons, and stage materials for production.
- Perform quality control analysis, including sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
- 2+ years of experience in a chemical plant environment, with a strong background in batch manufacturing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree or higher a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work overtime and nights as required, and to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy objects.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment, and to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Knowledge of chemical processes and safety procedures, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment, with exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and to lift, bend, and move heavy objects.
