Job Title: Business Development Manager - Public Safety

Join Precision Solutions, a leading staffing solutions provider in Northern Virginia, as a Business Development Manager - Public Safety. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding new business opportunities and exceeding the needs of current clients in North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new revenue and expand business opportunities in the public safety sector.
  • Source, foster, and manage new and existing client relationships to achieve sales objectives.
  • Identify and research competitors to understand their offerings and our unique value proposition.
  • Research potential clients in new and existing markets, pursue leads, and move through the sales cycle.
  • Promote company products by addressing and predicting client needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations on planned activities.
  • Achieve all personal sales objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Work with the VP, BD Law Enforcement Solutions to develop proposals.
  • Follow the sales process with daily updates and tracking of sales, revenue, and opportunities.
  • Participate in all sales forecasting and planning.
  • Participate in or attend exhibitions, conferences, and shows as required.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of proven experience excelling in technical sales and relationship building.
  • Strong background in technical sales and business development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key players in the public safety or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience working within public safety, telecommunications, and/or IoT industries.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proven ability to proactively engage with leaders and facilitate discussions.
  • Technical proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships at the highest levels both inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Availability to travel within North America to meet customers and attend key conferences.
Education/Certification Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Electronics, Engineering, or related field is required.
