We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to take on the role of Business Development Representative at our Harmarville location. This full-time position operates under the direct guidance of the PDC Pharmacy Administrator of Operations. The primary focus of the Business Development Representative is to contribute to revenue generation by enhancing key sales activities for PDC Pharmacy. Responsibilities encompass campaign management, lead generation, lead qualification, sales presentations, and representation at trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and securing direct sales opportunities, with an emphasis on new business.
  • Proactively engage with the customer base to uncover additional sales opportunities.
  • Design and implement targeted marketing initiatives, including strategic plans for trade shows and new service offerings.
  • Support the PDC Pharmacy Administrator of Operations in securing strategic accounts and developing new sales territories.
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with all prospective customer accounts.
  • Coordinate all aspects of trade show participation, including pre-show, onsite, and post-show follow-up activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of leads and opportunities in Salesforce (CRM).
  • Assist with internal sales and marketing reporting as needed.
  • Manage inventory of marketing materials and coordinate the creation of new materials as required.
  • Exhibit a strong ability to quickly assess and qualify lead opportunities.
  • Engage customers through both in-person and virtual presentations of services and solutions.
  • Travel as necessary to support sales efforts, customer visits, and trade shows.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the human services sector is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and methodologies is required.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software is essential (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including managing spreadsheets, is required.
  • Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word is necessary.
  • Knowledge of market research tools is required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to articulate business value propositions effectively to customers is required.
  • Must demonstrate clear and effective communication skills while representing the company.
