Overview:
The role involves working collaboratively to ensure the efficient operation of the unit while delivering therapeutic interventions that align with best practice standards, care plans, and institutional policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation of individual care plans.
- Execute all responsibilities associated with the nursing assistant role.
- Deliver direct patient care, focusing on behavioral symptom management and assisting patients in coping with various stressors.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and update care plans and discharge strategies.
- Encourage patient participation in activities and document their involvement.
- Provide hands-on support and coaching to assist patients with daily living activities and address their concerns.
- Ensure patient care is delivered in a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment.
- Support team members in addressing patient needs.
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare setting is required.
Licenses:
- Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
- Certified Nurse Aide certification is preferred upon hire.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze situations, organize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Capability to observe patient behavior and document findings accurately.
- Teaching and training skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with therapeutic activities is preferred.
