We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Sales Representative to join our team at Hawthorne Cat. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan to achieve maximum sales and profit for the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan to target assigned customer accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and quotations to secure business.
  • Develop and expand the customer database and update it monthly.
  • Establish and maintain a machine ownership list of equipment owned by customers on the call list.
  • Submit a summary of account activity on a monthly basis.
  • Provide financial counseling and marketing to customers to facilitate sales.
  • Generate cold calls to develop new accounts and add to the database.
  • Control expenses required in transacting sales.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Minimum 7 years of industry and product-specific sales experience.
  • PC skills and extensive Caterpillar product knowledge in construction and compact equipment.
