Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Quick and accurate decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to The Charles Hotel's standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform daily floor cleaning and buffing in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Shampoo carpets in public areas as per hotel guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain furniture as needed.
  • Ensure public restrooms are clean and properly maintained throughout your shift.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and fellow staff.
  • Handle lost and found items following company protocols.
  • Return all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at the end of your shift.
  • Complete daily task checklists and submit them to your supervisor.
  • May include deep cleaning of assigned areas and setting up complimentary hotel lobby functions, including coffee service and evening concierge events.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
