Bell Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Bell Attendant to join our team at The Charles Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of memorable.

• Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Assist guests with luggage, including loading and unloading luggage carts.
• Escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
• Check and store luggage for arrivals and departures, using luggage tags to ensure accurate identification.
• Deliver messages, flowers, and packages to guest rooms, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Complete room changes, ensuring guest rooms are prepared to the highest standards.
• Maintain current listings of local attractions, events, and activities, recommending locations to guests.
• Assist the housekeeping department with guest requests, ensuring seamless communication and service.
• Ensure the lobby reader board is accurate and up-to-date, providing guests with essential information.
• Provide information, maps, and directions to guests, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their surroundings.
• Open doors, answer phones, and conduct house counts, ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation.
• Show guests to their rooms and suites, highlighting the hotel's amenities and services.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure.
