Role Title: Client Support Administration Support


This position is integral to supporting the USAFCENT Command Operations Center, aligning with the AFCENT/Chief of Staff's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and modify user software, ensuring effective software management.
  • Provide basic software application support for commonly utilized office automation tools and conduct initial diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate support inquiries with various stakeholders, including customers and system administrators.
  • Assess organizational computer resource needs annually and as required.
  • Validate equipment requirements and assist with hardware and software inventory management.
  • Enhance user awareness regarding unauthorized or illegal computer usage, supporting Operation Security (OPSEC) and Communication Security (COMSEC).
  • Report security incidents to the Information Assurance Officer and disseminate security information to relevant staff.
  • Act as a Trusted Agent for Common Access Card Pin Reset (CPR) within the USAF Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including resetting PIN numbers for Common Access Cards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification and maintain it.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in personal computer and desktop support.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work autonomously and collaboratively, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate clearly with clients in a high-pressure environment.
  • At least five years of experience with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) MIAP program and Supply Electronic Document Control program.
